I just finished this top from a Country Threads pattern called This Old Farmhouse. I've got my backing ready to go as well, now I just need to decide how to quilt it...
Quick share of a mini quilt I've had done for a while but just hung up after buying a new hanger for it. This pattern came out of a Better Homes and Gardens publication. The blocks are 3 inches square. I loved the idea of combining cross stitch and quilting!
Just getting started on the Farmer's Wife Quilt. I've picked out fabrics and cut pieces for four blocks so far:
Big Dipper-which of course had to have stars, along with a dark blue for the night sky.
Birds in the Air- the blue print has little birds on it.
Wild Rose & Square
Wood Lily- this is my favorite block in the book so I had to start off with this one. I chose the oak leaf fabric and the green for the trees in the woods. I chose a lighter color that made me think of Trilliums which is the flower that came to mind at the name "wood lily".
