This week's theme for the Eureka challenge is 4 Legged Friends.
Isn't this the cutest moose...I just think he's perfect for the chilly weather! He'll also make a great pick-me-up card for the hectic holiday season. I used Eureka's Bundled Up Moose and Warm Today.
I used Copics for coloring. I want to thank all of our loyal participants in the Eureka challenge...it's nice to see familiar names and blogs. I also enjoy "meeting" new people and hope that you will come back again to play in our weekly challenges. I'm constantly inspired by others' creativity!
Our theme this week for the Eureka challenge is: Things with Wings and I wanted to go with something a bit less obvious than the typical birds or butterflies we tend to think of, so I picked an angel!
I used a metallic textured paper for my background and a fancy trim as I wanted my card to feel regal and celebratory. I made a banner out of the sentiment and put it on foam tape. I also added a bit of shimmer to her halo and wings.
The images I've used are Eureka's Praise Angel and Glory to God. I have been in the mood to work on Christmas cards lately, so get ready for some more winter themes coming up!

This weeks theme at Eureka is birthday so I thought this beautiful stamp was perfect. What better birthday to celebrate?
I used Eureka's Bethlehem with Verse. There's a bit of gold embossing added to the star and some random dots. Stitching around the edges is also in gold. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you'll join in our birthday theme this week!
This is my last post for Pinspirational Challenges. It's hard to believe I've already been on the team for six months! It's been a lot of fun, but I think it's time to focus on some other projects for a while. On with the challenge...
This is a very sweet picture, and it would have been fun to do something with fairy wings but I'm not sure I'm up to that challenge. I'm not quite sure how to capture the iridescence. If any of you fellow crafters have tips you'd like to share, I'd love to hear!

And onto my project...I'm using princess dress card from Creations by AR.
I had to go with springy colors inspired by the picture on this one, so I started off with a blue base for the skirt, adding rows of lace and a stitched hem along the bottom. I chose a floral print for the top from a 6x6 pad from Authentique's Seasons Essentials.(I love that these smaller pads are scaled to a more appropriate size for cards and small projects. I think I've been buying more of those lately than the larger 12x12 sheets.) I used a Martha Stewart punch- Eyelet Lace (or part of it) for the lace details around the neckline and sleeves. Then I added a bit of ribbon, pearls and a bow around the waist, and some pink pearls to the lace. I changed the style of the hat a bit by widening the brim. Then I added a pearl necklace with Perfect Pearls.
I had so much fun with this one that I put together another one...
I love how the lace on the hat turned out on this one.
Then I did another...
Reminds me of playing with paper dolls! I think these will be so cute to use as place cards for a tea party, so that's my plan. Hope you'll get a chance to play along this week at Pinspirational Challenges #104!

There's a fifth week challenge going on over at House of Cards ...and here's your inspiration:
There are some beautiful colors and patterns in here that would be great for spring cards, but I chose to make a winter card with the blue, white and silver.
I used a couple snowflake images and sentiment from Alley Way Stamps-they are available as free downloads on their site.
I resized both snowflakes to create my own patterned paper for the background-adding stickles to the centers. Then a bit of sewing, some embellishing with sheer ribbon and silver trim, glitter paper, rhinestones, a button, and I used a Spellbinders Picot Edge Circle die. Thanks so much for stopping by...come join the House of Cards challenge as we say goodbye to March and hello to April!

This project came about as something I designed for a GDT post for Through the Craft Room Door. The vintage images I was given to work with are just so sweet...I ended up using all four that they sent me!
Over the years I've seen many candles like this created with images on tissue paper, and I can't believe it took me so long to try the technique...it's super easy! Since this is a digital image I just taped some tissue paper over the printer paper where my image would print and printed it onto the tissue paper. Then you just trim it down, lay the paper on your candle, and lay a piece of waxed paper over the image, heat with a heat gun just to transfer the wax from the waxed paper to the tissue, remove the waxed paper and...Voila! I'm curious to see what happens when the candle is burned...I definitely won't be leaving it unattended and I plan on removing all of the embellishments before lighting it.
For my gift bag I used some glittery red paper for the base, and some pretty embossed felt I had left over from another project-I sewed those two layers together with metallic gold thread. I also used some gold trim and vintage lace and a couple mini brads next to the Christmas Greetings sentiment.
