Oops, I didn't get my post up on the right day, so sorry! We're into our third week of the House of Cards "Add a Bow" challenge. Come play along, whatever your style, there is plenty of inspiration for all! It's now officially summer and that means time for ice cream!
I used a Fiskars stamp with watercolor pencils. The little banner is a chipboard piece from Dear Lizzy . I used scraps for the background and some Lawn Fawn twine for my bow. Of course every quilt needs some stitching, so I zigzagged between the blocks.
The new Eureka challenge is up and this week's theme is picnic, so let's see what you can come up with!
This cat sure looks like he's enjoying a break on a hot afternoon! I used Lemonade Cat from Eureka.

It's challenge #102 over at Pinspirational Challenges and here is our inspiration:
I don't know about you, but I'd love a candy bouquet like this one!
Alas... instead you'll have to settle for a card from me.
I was inspired by the colors in the photo this week.
My design uses an image from Beccy's Place-Old Pump.
I decided to do something a little different and make the picture fold out- with all those little ribbon tabs it just looked like it should open up.
I'd love to hear what you think about this one, I haven't decided yet if I like it or not. Our generous sponsors this week:
