It's Friday again, and time for another Great Impressions card.
Happy Friday! What a busy week this has been...I'm glad to see the weekend at last! Besides trying to get some cards done for upcoming deadlines, we've been blessed with an abundance of garden veggies that need attention right now. A ripe tomato waits for no one! That means spending a lot of time in the kitchen over a hot stove, but I digress...onto the card:
Today's card for the Great Impressions blog uses Harvest Truck G471, and Abundant Blessings C384.
I used Copics to color the truck, and watercolor pencils for the grassy background. I masked off the bottom part of the sentiment so that this could be used anytime rather than just at Thanksgiving. This is also my attempt at a more masculine design, which I don't make very often! I hope you'll link up your creations using Great Impressions stamps over in the Customer Gallery...and while you're at it, come play in the Challenge too!
Creative Knockouts: happy fall y'all
Crafting Musketeers: autumnal colors
Creative Card Crew: fall
Marker Pop: fall
It's time for another challenge over on the Moving Along with the Times blog.
We have a fun theme for you: Hats and Scarves
Now I'm guessing that most of you are going to think winter when you hear hats & scarves, so here's something a little different to get you thinking outside the box:
This sweet little girl is a My Favorite Things stamp, and she is so much fun to play "dress up" with! I used ribbon, glossy accents and a brad on her paper pieced hat. Then I added flower soft for the scarf. I paper pieced her dress, then added lace under the bottom edge. Perfect pearls (of course) for her necklace and the button on the purse. I sponged a little distress ink on the edges of the flowers.
Now she's all dressed up and ready for tea!
Today is my first post on the Great Impressions blog and I wanted to do something special to celebrate the 4th of July festivities going on this weekend as well. Here's what I came up with:
For more details you can go visit my post over at Great Impressions, and if you haven't heard, there is a sale going on right now. 15% off with the code below.
Have a great holiday weekend and stay safe!

Here are our sponsors:
...AND now for the card I created for you all today:
I'm using two stamps from Great Impressions- Flower Flourish and Faith. I used some die cut flowers layered over the flowers on the stamp for dimension, and some tiny brads in the centers.
Check out the next amazing project we have to share with you today over on Gracie's blog. Don't forget to link up your project with us over on the House of Cards blog after completing the hop for an extra chance to win a mystery prize from one of our fabulous sponsors, too! HUGS and happy stamping to you all! :)
This week's theme for the Eureka challenge is 4 Legged Friends.
Isn't this the cutest moose...I just think he's perfect for the chilly weather! He'll also make a great pick-me-up card for the hectic holiday season. I used Eureka's Bundled Up Moose and Warm Today.
I used Copics for coloring. I want to thank all of our loyal participants in the Eureka challenge...it's nice to see familiar names and blogs. I also enjoy "meeting" new people and hope that you will come back again to play in our weekly challenges. I'm constantly inspired by others' creativity!
