We had a Western Tanager show up today at one of our feeders and I was lucky enough to snap a few pictures before he moved on... #209 for my life list!

This is the first year that I overwintered the parsnips, they aren't huge but we harvested 9 1/2 pounds, which should last us quite a while. It's so gratifying to be able to go out and dig fresh produce so early in the spring. I always get impatient this time of year to get everything planted and start picking things.
