Beautiful day, a bit windy but very warm. I moved some of the garlic that were coming up where I didn't want them and transplanted into their new location. I couldn't resist throwing a few seeds in the ground as well: lettuce, kale and spinach.
One of our amaryllis opened up today.
Our first robin returned March 9th. We've also seen the bluebirds 3/14 and blackbird flocks return 3/16. I also heard a couple frogs in our pond and saw a salamander while out for a walk so spring is here! All of the snow has melted off the gardens. The ground is still pretty frozen, but we did manage to set a couple of fence posts for some birdhouses. No trilliums up yet but I have noticed a few weeds out in the woods already peeking through the dead leaves.
