Hello friends! Here's another card I copied from Pinterest...really love this one! I used the Fun Stamper's Journey Newsprint stamp for my background again. Stampin Up's Butterfly Basics for the rest. Colors are Calypso Coral and Crisp Cantaloupe. I used a watercolor brush to color the flowers.
Since I haven't posted in such a long time, here is something I've had done for a while and just haven't gotten around to sharing yet. Maybe it will serve to get me back in the swing of things.
I lifted this one from an idea on Pinterest. I used Stampin Up You're My Type, and a Fun Stamper's Journey Newsprint stamp.
Welcome hoppers! Can you believe it?! We are already at the end of our fifth term at House of Cards! Thanks to everyone who has been playing along with us, and thanks also to each of you wonderful DT members...a truly inspirational bunch! Thanks so much for all you do!
This hop will run FROM June 1ST AT 6:00 AM CST THROUGH June 15TH AT NOON CST, ANY CARD STYLE is welcome and we've got a fun photo inspiration for your crafting enjoyment!
I'm using the color scheme, as well as flowers on this card featuring an adorable image from A Day for Daisies:
I used Copics for coloring the image, and chalks for the sky, adding a bit of glitter pen on the dots around the girl and some sparkly glittered flowers for accents.
Thanks for stopping in...your next visit should be to Heather's blog. Happy hopping!
Welcome everyone! My blogging has seen some serious neglect the last few months. Alas, it's not for lack of activity here in my studio, just too many other things on my plate! I am determined to get back into the swing of things and start posting on a more regular basis.
On with the challenge! Come join us over at House of Cards.
I made a pastel colored card this month which I usually don't have much luck with. For some reason pastels just don't speak to me, but I like how this one came out. I chose to use a pretty pre-printed vellum (which also happened to have a copyright printed on it from 2000!) It feels good to finally use something I've had that long!
What are some of your oldest supplies? Maybe it's time to dig them out and put them to good use! That's just my personal challenge to you this week...if you join in our House of Cards challenge be sure to use vellum or acetate on your card. Looking forward to seeing you there!
Happy April everyone! March sure seemed to fly by, and it's time once again for a new challenge at House of Cards. You can use the colors above and/or script for your creations this time...have fun with it! Here's what I made:
I made the background by covering some cardstock with a script washi tape, then using a die to cut out the leaves. So easy to do, and a fun and different technique using washi tape. What do you think?
