Here's a page I recently finished up for a mini album I'm working on. It's from the Simple Treasures video tutorial by Laura Denison. She's an awesome designer and if you aren't familiar with her work you should check out her blog. It's full of videos and she also sells kits and patterns for mini albums and 3-dimensional paper crafted projects.
I used a bunch of miscellaneous papers from my stash on this album in mostly pinks, blues and greens. The base pages are about 5" x 7". On this page I did a text stamp on the background and also inked the edges. Then there's a front pocket, a pocket I made from waxed paper with a tag, and two mats that pull out for photos. This will get holes punched in it later when I'm ready to bind it.
My tag is the reason I wanted to share this so I could enter the MarkerPop Challenge this week. I finally broke down and decided to try out Copics! I'm starting slowly with them and only got a few skin tones, so the majority of the coloring is watercolor pencils but I did her face and neck with Copics. This is a stamp set from Unity and I masked off part of the saying thinking that maybe I would write some of my favorite things on the back side of the tag.
Here's another Unity stamp I used to practice my coloring:
