It's a sad day for me, as our challenge leader has decided to close CASE-ing Christmas. I feel like I just started! We do hope you'll come hop along with us one more time, and say goodbye to this wonderful team!
I decided to try a shaker card. I started out by stamping the sentiment, then used a circle to die cut the center. For the shaker part, I sewed a little pocket out of plastic I cut from a page protecter, then filled it with some Flower Soft and a few tiny sequins. Under that I layered some white embossed snowflakes stamped on navy paper. I cut into some of my new papers I got on a shopping trip recently with my card making friends. Some twine tied around the top and a snowflake charm finishes it off. Thanks so much for stopping by!
Playing with some stamps from Fun Stamper's Journey: Autumn Days and Newsprint, mixed with a sentiment from Stampin Up: Truly Grateful. I started out by inking up some glossy cardstock with Distress inks, then using Distress embossing powder with my leaf stamp. I inked up the orange cardstock a bit too, for some subtle shading.

Come join the fun! The theme is Thankful plus this picture:
Great texture here with the burlap and pinecones, and I love the warm browns and cream candles. All these things inspired my card!
Great Impressions is a sponsor for this week's CRAFT Challenge. Here is the sketch:
I have to admit I really struggled with this one. There are a few too many elements on here for my liking. However, I pretty much stuck to the layout and here's what I came up with:
Great Impressions stamps used are Seaside Lighthouse G305 and Birds on the Beach C381. What's the verdict? Do you like it, or is it just too busy...I'm still not crazy about it. I hope the sketch inspires you to create and play along with the challenge!

You can use the colors, or you can use texture in your card creations this month (or both).
I pulled out a Stampin Up set I haven't had much of a chance to play with yet called Truly Grateful.
I colored the wheat stamp, fussy cut it and popped it up over the same stamp on my background piece.
I added a bit of texture by layering burlap under the stamped image. I also tied some twine around the bunch of wheat, and added some stitching on the sentiment strip.
Thanks for stopping in today! Be sure to visit the blogs of our Design Team members, they're such an amazing group of talented ladies!
Welcome back to another challenge for CASE-ing Christmas! This month we've got a card created by Mynn to inspire you:
I love the cute snowman and the drifts of snow, so that's what I chose to inspire my card! I then went back and added some of the same Paper Sweeties sequins in amongst the snowflakes, and edged the snowbank with stickles. The snowflakes are heat embossed with clear powder.
