Thanks so much to them for allowing the design team to play with their images! I'm using one from Stitchy Bear called Sweet Treat.
I ended up using only one of the cupcakes from the image, adding some liquid applique for frosting, some tiny punches for sprinkles and a cherry stamp colored and coated with glossy accents. The cupcake picture made me think of the texture of cupcake liners, so I knew I wanted to incorporate crimped paper as well as a rosette. I used a scoring board to score the rosette at 1/8" intervals so it's not real thick-which I think works a little better on cards rather than the usual 1/4" thickness.
A quick post to add this to my shop in the tab above. I'm trying to get it updated with the cards I still have here in the studio ready for sale.
I used a chipboard sticker from Crate Paper and added some twine bows which I hand dyed. The cupcake is hand cut from patterned paper, then I added glitter to the candle flame and a bit of shimmer to the lines on the cupcake liner. Some ribbon and lace, and of course I had to do some sewing too!
I've been having fun making some cards sets recently for my Etsy shop and here is another I came up with using some cupcake patterned paper I had. All of the cupcakes are hand cut, with machine sewn lines, and sparkly candle flames. They are raised up on dimensional tape, as is the greeting. Cards measure 5 5/8" x 4 3/8".
