Eureka is having a challenge featuring shaped cards this week. Mine is fairly simple, and I used this tutorial and my Envelope Punch Board to create my card.
I wrapped ribbon around my spool for the base, and used a sentiment (Thank You) from QKR. I also made my own fancy stick pin with some beads and stuck it into the foam adhesive behind the sentiment. I think this will be perfect for one of my quilting friends!

Using Eureka's Just a Note and Heart Eighth Notes. Clean and simple is not usually my thing. I started out with the banner I created with both digis-then decided to add just a couple of random sequins-I've never gotten into the sequin trend but thought they would work well on here. I threaded a bead through the center of each just for a bit of contrast.
Just for comparison I thought I'd post my first attempt. I decided I didn't like all the white and I think maybe the scored background made it too busy. What do you think?
I made these fun ribbon bookmarks as gifts for a Bible study group. There's a tutorial I used over here to get me started. Would you believe that Hobby Lobby doesn't have these ribbon clamps? I had to make a special trip to JoAnn's for them-and their jewelry section is much smaller.
I made the length of my ribbon 9 1/2".
All of my supplies came from JoAnn's.
I decided that I needed some cute little boxes to put these in and scoured Pinterest for some ideas. I settled on the tree design from here...which happens to be a free printable so it was quick and easy. I resized mine to 70% ( which makes a cube with sides 1 5/8" square). If you print it out to the original size your box will be about 2 1/4" on each side.
