Hello again card making friends! Welcome back! I've got a fun card full of texture for the Moving Along with the Times challenge today. I was playing with some new goodies on this one. I found this background embossing folder at Jo Ann's for 97 cents. I love it! It reminds me of quilting...my other favorite pastime. The embossed doily is also new. It's a Spellbinders folder, but then I cut it out.
I coated the butterfly with stickles for a bit of shine. Thanks for popping by!
Hello again! This is the card I came up with for the Pony Case-press challenge. The concept is to use the previous card as inspiration for our own card. Here is what Vicki Dutcher posted and I used to inspire me:
I used the idea of the tag and stamped my sentiment onto it. I also used vellum as my waves and kept with the striped background, blue and white, and stitching.
This stamp set is from Our Daily Bread Designs.
Welcome to another challenge for Moving Along with the Times. The theme this week is fruit.
I'll admit I didn't spend a whole lot of time on this one as I completely forgot about the challenge until the day before it was due. I used distress ink to color some paper, then stamped the strawberries. I also spritzed a bit of glimmer mist over it (I know this never shows up well in photos, does it?)
I found the sentiment in a free digital set from Doodle Pantry. Sweet and simple...and that's it from me! Hope you'll come play along!
I got this new Stampin Up set recently and am trying it out for the first time.
I stamped the celebrate part onto pink cardstock and cut it out and put it on foam tape. I love just that little bit of dimension! The rest is colored with Copics. The background blue piece was sponged with some distress inks.
